Very good place: i) close to ski slopes, ii) free location and iii) large living room
We were 8 adults and 9 children. We had a lot of space and the decor was good for us. More people therefore certainly fit. La Chapelle d'Abondance ski slope was excellent for a few days or even a week for less experienced skiers. Especially the long green slope is recommended for beginners / careful (older) skiers. Via ski lift 'Panthiaz' you come to beautiful slopes in terms of possibilities and views. Recommended!

Plenty of room, cheaper than many but very basic standard only
Overall we had a good time with three families, several kids and one dog. There is enough space for everybody which is always helpful in bigger groups. Also there is a big cellar for drying the ski cloths. However the standard is partially questionable. While the beds in the major grown up sleeping rooms are OK. Kid beds and other furniture are very shaky. Bathrooms show clear signs of mold. Electricity is not 100% stable always and plugs are rare in many rooms. Nothing that could not be handed. So still we enjoyed our stay very much and also if the owner was not available in person he was managing everything very well. When heating was off at day one it only took a call to get it fixed within hours.

Vacances sportives !
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la situation du chalet au milieu de la vallée ! Il y a à peine besoin de prendre la voiture 5 min pour avoir accès a de magnifiques randonnées ! Le chalet est agréable et nous avons passé du temps sur la terrasse avec sa vue sur les montagnes.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans le chalet. Il est très bien situé, plutôt fonctionnel et le propriétaire à l’écoute. Il n’était pas très propre à l’arrivée et une colonie de fourmis nous a un peu contrarié. Sinon tout a été parfait, nous recommandons

Heerlijk huis, met een kleine keuken voor zo’n grote groep, wij waren met 15 personen. Geen ophangsystemen voor de douchekoppen, dat was ook jammer. De hygiëne was matig. Wel goed en vriendelijk contact met de eigenaar, een prachtige locatie met korte aanrij tijd naar de skigebieden. We hebben erg genoten

Chalet vaste et fonctionnel
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le chalet est vaste et fonctionnel. Les nombreuses chambres ont permis à toute la famille et cousins de trouver leurs places. Bonne literie. Le vaste salon a permis de tous nous accueillir et manger ensemble, plusieurs grandes tables. La terrasse est grande. Superbe vue sur les dents du midi et montagnes environnantes du salon ou de la terrasse. Le sous sol accueille les amateurs de ping pong. Parking extérieur pour 4 voitures, pratique. Le chalet était propre, les équipements fonctionnels, la décoration sobre. Certains éléments sont à rafraichir. Le site environnant est accueillant, la vallée est très belle, verdoyante et de nombreuses randonnées possibles pour petits et grands. Contact avec le propriétaire très satisfaisant, donne des informations détaillées sur le fonctionnement de son chalet.

Chalet spacieux, ideal pour 3/4 famille dommage que les canapés sont un peu vieux
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans ce chalet, meubles un peu vieux quelques rénovations a faire est c ‘est nickel, mais pour le prix sa reste correcte (rapport/qualité prix). Contact avec le propriétaire très satisfaisante, si vous cherchez un grand chalet pour pas chère je vous le conseille vivement.

Très bon séjour dans le chalet "aux 4 ve/ts"
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une petite semaine après Noël 2020 au chalet, 5 adultes et 5 ados/pré-ados. Nous l'avons vraiment bien apprécié, un chalet à bien vivre, beaucoup de place partout, un grand séjour pour jouer discuter et manger ensemble, plusieurs grandes tables, beaucoup de chambres, un dortoir au grenier, tout l'équipement nécessaire en vaisselle/couvertures/bois pour la cheminée/pelles à neige... Chalet très agréable et bien pensé (douche au sous-sol en revenant du ski, nombreux porte manteaux, cheminée face à la grande baie vitrée), vue magnifique le matin sur les sommets et la plaine de ski de fond... La petite station (à pied pour le retour vers le chalet, ouh la grande montée !) a une bonne boulangerie, une fromagerie 24/24 ! et une épicerie, attention l'Intermarché est vers Chatel et non vers Abondance :-). Cet hiver en raison du Covid, pas de ski alpin, mais skating et biathlon et raquettes et chiens de traineau ! [Attention, comme signalé dans l'annonce, chaînes obligatoires pour monter au chalet en voiture]. Nous recommandons ce chalet !

Bon emplacement. Bon équipement au niveau literie, vaisselle. Le bâtiment commence à vieillir. Pour 15 personnes il manque une salle de bain. Problème du thermostat de la salle de bain de l'étage 1 (eau trop chaude), pas de sèche-cheveux, chaises un peu branlantes que l'on a essayé de recoller avec de la colle à bois disponible dans le coin atelier. Il serait bien d'ouvrir les volets avant notre arrivée, car quand il n'y a pas eu d'occupants avant il faut deux jours pour obtenir une température convenable On y retourne l 'année prochaine, donc globalement bien satisfaits avec un choix de très belles et bonnes randonnées.

Groot Chalet met spectaculair uitzicht
We hebben met 16 personen een geweldige familievakantie gehad. Binnenkomst door de kelder is even wennen en de inrichting is wel erg oud en eenvoudig, maar daar wen je toch snel aan. Alles functioneert naar behoren inclusief goede wifi, en 's avonds met zijn allen bij een geweldige open haard met voldoende houtvoorraad is echt genieten. De dichtstbijzijnde skilift is 5 minuten met de auto en daar is voldoende parkeerplaats. Met 4 niet skiërs die wel boven willen meelunchen viel het ons wel tegen dat er bovenaan de lift geen geschikt restaurant te vinden was. Rijden naar Chatel (10 minuten) kan ook maar daar raak je in het seizoen je auto niet kwijt. Of door naar Linga, maar ook daar kun je je auto niet kwijt. Het meest hebben we genoten van het spectaculaire uitzicht vanuit het chalet en de zonnige ligging.

An excellent well-appointed family chalet in a great location. Thoroughly recommended.
The chalet is outside the village in a quiet and private location with plenty of room for the children to toboggan and play in the snow. We had a big party of 20 and there was plenty of room to park our four cars for the daily trip to the slopes at Pre le Joux (10 minutes drive away). The chalet is very comfortable and well-equipped, with the added benefit of a games room in the basement (ping-pong). We had an excellent holiday.

Chalet familial, confortable et bien exposé.
Très agréable séjour aux "4 Vents". On se sent comme à la maison, mais en pleine montagne, avec vue panoramique sur la Dranse d'Abondance et les Dents du Midi. Beaux espaces, avec un salon-salle à manger lumineux et sa cheminée pour le soir. Des chambres bien adaptées aux enfants. Le propriétaire laisse l'usage de son atelier, c'est bien pratique pour régler les fixations ! Tournoi de ping-pong au sous-sol : le petit plus quand la neige fait défaut. Nous y reviendrons !

Confortable place with a bright living room.
Good feedback for this house. The owner is always available for any doubt with a good predisposition to help. The best part of the house is ghe living room where there are a lot of windows and a chiminee. The house is confortable with mainly all the rooms in the second floor. No complaints for this house.
