"We made a last minute bookng here and the owner stayed up until 1am fpr us to arrive whuch was much appreciated. They also stored to luggage for us after we left which was very accommodating. Lovely hotel and wish we could have stayed longer to use the spa which looled great!"

"Pretty setting. Hotel restaurant is apparently good but we were unable to make a reservation. Communication was difficult as the staff exclusively spoke French and were unable to communicate with us in English, German or Italian - while we were able to understand the gist, it is surprising for a hotel that presumably attracts a diverse clientele. No hairdryer in room and WiFi was unreliable. Overall it is surprising that the hotel has a 4 star rating as that was not our experience."

"The hotel did not have heating at night. Bedroom sheet was wet due how damp it was. We spoke to the owner multiple times, he did not bother to come and check on the heat. He complained that we left an apple and some other items at the room at the time of checkout. There was NO trash bag, trash can, or soap. He complained when I told him that my child had dairy allergies. He said: “ Why do you have a problem?” Well, people have different allergies. That was the worst attitude I have ever...

"The chalet is outside the village in a quiet and private location with plenty of room for the children to toboggan and play in the snow. We had a big party of 20 and there was plenty of room to park our four cars for the daily trip to the slopes at Pre le Joux (10 minutes drive away). The chalet is very comfortable and well-equipped, with the added benefit of a games room in the basement (ping-pong). We had an excellent holiday."

"This is a nice, well equipped and clean appartment (part of a chalet) with enough space for 12 people. It has a well equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a nice jacuzzi and sauna (both private`for the appartment and both very relaxing) and a ski locker with boot warmers. The location is unfortunately a bit far away from the ski lifts, and there is no longer a shuttle bus at walking distance, so traveling to and from the ski lifts needs to be done by car (5 min drive, free parking at the lift)....

"Lovely week away with friends and family. The chalet was perfect for our group. Lovely big table to eat around and roaring fire. John was very helpful recommending restaurants and replying to messages quickly. The ski area was excellent for all abilities, with lovely restaurants to explore up the mountains. Thank you John."

"We spent 3 weeks here and loved every minute of it. There's a lot of room with a proper well fitted kitchen which we much appreciated because we mostly cook for ourselves. However La Chapelle has a number of really good restaurants so every now and then we had an evening off and ate out. The uninterupted view from the main living room is the Cret Beni, which is so beautiful. We plan to return next year, if by then the two camp beds in second bedroom have been replaced it would take the score...

"Pas d'état des lieux ni d'entrée ni de sortie, propriétaire pas sur place. Propreté catastrophique à notre arrivée, appareil à fondue et poêles pour cuisiner inutilisables, chaise cassée, alèzes de lit et oreillers tachés, couette déchirée....et j'en passe. Nous avons quitté notre hébergement après 1 journée...Nous avons pris des photos et fait une demande de dédommagement à abritel....pas de réponse. C'est très décevant."

"Lovely, very spacious chalet with everything you need. Great scenery of the forest and mountain views. We had a great stay lots of hiking around the area. I definitely agree with one of the reviews, could do with more relaxing sofas by the fire. Communication was good, any questions answered very quickly. Negative - Although it states in the contract Phillipe sends you, you have to pay for linen and towels, however, what would be helpful is that it should state this on VRBO's website in...
