Traditional Breton Longere, Cotes d'Armor

The property is to be found down a quiet country lane. It is surrounded by a large garden which backs on to open countryside. The ground floor has an open plan layout with lounge area with exposed stone feature wall and wood burning stove and fitted kitchen/dining area. On the upper floor there are 2 large bedrooms and a small single room all of which offer views out over the garden and surrounding countryside. The local area boasts many historical towns and cities, the closest being Guingamp, Morlaix and Carhaix Plouguer. Callac is the nearest town to the property (15 minute drive), which has all the amenities needed eg supermarkets, restaurants, doctors, vets. The North Brittany coast is a 30 minutes drive and boasts many picturesque beaches and coves, it is slightly further to the south and west coast beaches but they are well worth a visit. The roads are quiet and ideal for cycling, there is a large network of both road and mountain bike rides/trails in the area. There are also lots of well signed walks locally.

Lovely cottage and beautiful garden
Lovely stay- Sharon and Jules were lovely- the cottage met all our needs including decent wifi. Beautiful garden- and surrounding area lovely. Locals very friendly too.

We had a very nice stay in the cottage. It had 2 bathrooms which was splendid. Despite the weather we could visit everything we want, beaches in the north and at the west coast and the forest in Huelgoat. Brest is also a very nice city to visit!!

Quiet well equipped rural accommodation in Western Brittany - recommended.
Quiet rural accommodation with all facilities we needed, and central enough location to enable us to explore the North, West and South coasts as well as nearer attractions such as the forest of Huelgoat, and only 10 mins drive from supermarkets etc. Sharon and Jules were perfect hosts and the accommodation is spacious and well equipped. Weather in February was (mostly) bettter than expected, but the woodburning stove ensured that the property was cozy throughout our stay. Recommended.

Wonderful! So tranquil. Most of the time, all we could hear was the birds singing. Lovely, well-appointed gite with masses of space, en suite on main bedroom and separate family one. Kitchen with everything you could need. Massive garden. Truly relaxing and well-situated for trips all around Brittany!

A wonderful relaxing holiday
Klein, aber fein! Wunderschöne Landschaft, die wirklich allerfreundlichsten Vermieter und wenn man wusste, wo die „problemhunde“ in der Nachbarschaft wohnten, eine sehr idyllische Umgebung 😉 und hat es an nichts gefehlt. Ideal für Ausflüge mit dem Auto in alle Richtungen der Bretagne!

Séjour côtes d'Armor
Nous avons visité une région que l'on ne connaissait pas, découvert de très beau endroit, comme la ville de Morlaix et son viaduc et le petit train que notre petit fils a adoré. La balade en bateau pour voir la réserve naturelle des sept-Iles et si vous avez de la change vous pouvez voir des dauphins et des phoques gris comme nous. La ville de Perros-Guirec et ses plages, nous sommes allés visiter l'Aquarium Marin de Trégastel, la côte de granit rose superbe, de très bon restaurants crêperie. Il y a aussi Guerlesquin et son parc splendide, notre séjour s'est fini à Binic, nous regrettons pas dit êtres allés sur le conseille d'une amie. J'espère que nous aurons location dit retournés! Voila notre séjour dans les côtes d'Armor.

Lieu situé en campagne, très calme et reposant. On se sans seul au monde!!! La maison en pierre et bois donne une atmosphère chaleureuse et très bien équipée. La terrasse ensoleillée toute la journée est bien agréable ainsi que le très grand jardin fleurit et arborisé. Sharon Jule et le chien Bô, sont autant discrets que sympathiques. Das Gastgeber Ehepaar ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in unserem Daheim. Der Garten ist grandios, die Lage absolut im Grünen und sehr ruhig.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la propriété de Sharon et Jules. Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants de 3 à 13 ans), la maison est agréable et propre, bien équipée, le jardin est spacieux et très bien entretenu. Les hôtes sont accueillants, disponibles et très discrets. Il y a énormément de visites à faire à moins d'1h heure.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die Bretagne
Das Ferienhaus ist in einem tollen Zustand und die Zimmeraufteilung für fünf Personen perfekt. Bei der Ausstattung hat es an nichts gemangelt, aber es gibt keine Spülmaschine. Was für uns kein Problem darstellte. Insgesamt in allen Belangen fünf Sterne! Wir planen bereits den nächsten Aufenthalt.

Oasis of tranquility - recommended
Our family of 5, and our dog, had a wonderfull stay at La Magaourou. The house was very clean upon arrival and we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped it was. The beds were very good and it was soo quiet that we could sleep with the windows open. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the location, in combination with the extensive flowerbed just beside the terrace. Sharon and Jules were very friendly and available when you needed something. It was a very nice holiday for us and the dog. The gïte is certainly to be recommended.
