"The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point. The beach is 5 minutes down the road whereas the downtown restaurant area is about 20 minutes away. If you’re using Google Maps and taking the shortest route carry a flashlight for the walk...

"Herwann is a very nice host, the location and the layout of the house are great. Unfortunately, a few things are getting on in years and need a refurbishment. and the cleanliness was also a bit lacking, we found stains on the bedding and blankets. Also the lanai was basically unusable as it was completely filthy. This was a great pity, as the location and layout of the accommodation are perfect. and: there were obviously mothballs in the bedrooms and wardrobes which gave off a really unpleasant...

Perfect for those, like us, wanting to be away from it all and perfect for exploring the spectacular Picos de Europa. "The hotel is modern and is a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Area is quiet for sleeping. Staff were helpful and courteous. Toiletries were a step above. Parking was easy and free. Close to beach and cafes and a nice stroll to main town centre. There is a small fridge in the room and a pod coffee machine. We wish we had time to stay longer. "
