"The apartment is OK for a couple but is tired and outdated. Only the living room heater works. The bathroom and bedroom heaters didn't work and it was very cold after having a shower. There was also a non-working smoke alarm in a drawer. The bed was comfortable and the location near the slopes and ski bus stop was excellent. "This must be our third stay at this chalet. It is compact and at the bottom of a few steep steps but it is cosy and great value for money. Very easy hosts to deal with and all very relaxed. Chalet is directly below a drag lift that takes you to the Poutran lift into the Alpe d’Huez bowl. Oz is small so not many ch apres ski but we like it!!"

"Our second time visiting and we have rebooked for a 3rd Nicole was amazing despite some issues with VRBO and the washing machine she was in constant communication. It was great to add linen to our booking this year. The appartment is a good size we are 2 families equalling 10 people. Ski in/ out was still possible even in April Good sized rooms with plenty of views of the slops outside. Nicole added items to the kitchen from our last stay which made things even easier."

"I was really pleased with our choice of Le Chamois D’Or. It is ideally located near the bottom of the magic carpet and Pioneers chair lift and really is ski in/out. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. We even had a balcony overlooking the piste. "The apartment is well positioned just opposite the bus terminus and entry to the commercial area. To access the piste exit the apartment turn left and in about 100m you can access a blue piste that leads quickly to the main green run on the front of the resort. For the ski schools its a two minute walk to the right down hill. There were 11 of us in the apartment which felt about right. There are 14 beds but two of the rooms are very small with triple bunks. "We had a small party of 7 Road cyclists and loved our stay. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and WCs with ample storage for all of the bikes and equipment.
