"Nous rentrons ravis de notre séjour à la Garenne. Le soleil fut de la partie mais nous avons été conquis par le cadre verdoyant (grand et beau jardin dont notre avons bien profité), le gîte spacieux et confortable.... "This lovely property is off the beaten path just outside of the small town of Mauves-sur-Huisne. The house is as it looks and has ample space for 12 people. The owners are absolutely lovely and on hand to answer any questions and recommend local excursions. Lovely Belleme is just a 15 minute drive away for shopping and strolling. "Nous avons passer un superbe weekend avec un couple d’amis et nos 4 enfants. Céline et Bernard savent parfaitement accueillir dans ce lieu de repos avec beaucoup d’attention. Les enfants et nous memes ont été ravis. Du ramassage de pomme improvisé à la découverte des chevaux du haras et toutes les histoires qui vont avec. Stayed a number of times & found the hotel as described, easy to find, ample parking, well located; near major road links, petrol stations & restaurants. Breakfast is nice too. "Very helpful Staff, clean room and public areas, dog firendly, free parking adjacent to the hotel. My personal opinion is that the Dinner and Breakfast costs are too high for a 3* Hotel. The qualioty of food was excellent but as a traveller staying only for 1 night I did not need such expensive meal options. In fact I declined breakfast because of the cost"

"Beautiful property, manage by owner. Rooms are newly renovated, with modern touch, though some renovated building are from the 15th century. Love the peaceful landscape, with a quiet, small town nearby. Staff were very accomodating. Would come back again if I am ever in this area. Highly recommended."

"House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."
