"Manager/owner of the hotel was not very friendly and welcoming and the overall condition of the bathroom and toilets needs updating."

"Wir waren über 1 Woche dort, in der Zeit, wo es sehr heiß war, am Tage und auch nachts. Der Weg zum Grundstück muss teils zu Fuß zurückgelegt werden. Wenn man kein kleines Auto hat, muss man 5 min bergauf laufen, sonst ist der Weg kürzer. Vom Haus hat man eine tolle Aussicht. Lovely ancient Périgord house in La Roque-Gageac, close to Sarlat

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (45)
"We loved the stay and we all enjoyed the location. Everyone was really helpful when we had any questions and the house was really lovely and we’ll suited to a large family group having separate bedroom areas each with their own bathroom facilities. The pool was great and the outdoor seating area was lovely for morning coffee and evening meals alike. The dark sky views were excellent here so too was the view of the balloons going overhead on a morning and evening. A fabulous holiday!"

Country Cottage / Gite - LA ROQUE GAGEAC

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (24)
"A very nice place to stay and central to Sarlat, Le Roque-Gageac and Beynac. The space was very comfortable and peaceful. Hardly any noise from passing cars. Wonderful If you are coming from the USA understand that in Europe you are required to bring all you food andtoiletries. There is no soap, shampoo, salt, pepper and other items you might expect from a USA rental. Hopefully Alexandre will add more utensils in the kitchen and lids for the saucepans."

"We had a fantastic week in this beautiful house, overlooking the River Dordogne at the end of August. It's perfectly located for visits to local chateaux, canoeing on the river and nearby towns. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We can't recommend it highly enough"
