"After a short taxi ride arranged by the owners, we were met by our charming local host, Laurence who, with the help of a porter led us through the myriad back alleys of the medina to a lovely house. The next day a young woman prepared us breakfast, and when we asked, a yummy dinner. Other than the initially off-putting state and smells of the area which one gets used to very quickly, it was a great stay. Manyn thanks especially to Laurence."

"Nice place has a lot of potential. Took more money than what agreed through Expedia. Not the most helpful of people ask for ice on a couple of occasions to no help. The fridge is terrible for keeping anything close to cold. Asked for an iron but to no help. They do not change the bedsheets on every occasion of housekeeping. Get your money exchanged else where they don’t give a good rate. They think customer service is a smile only. For a four star hotel it behaves as a two star. "

"I am happy with my stay , I was really looking for a traditional Moroccan place to stay and Ryad Alya did not disappoint. The architecture is very traditional and I can feel the local tradition in my stay. They also served the best traditional Moroccan breakfast and Idris was so nice to wait for me for my late check in and also for providing me good breakfast himself. I recommend this place in your next trip and they also have a transfer from the airport or from the train to this place."

"Our stay at Riad Fes Baraka was nothing short of outstanding—definitely a 5-star experience! Samir, the property manager, sets the bar incredibly high with his exceptional, personalized service. The whole staff was wonderful—always friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure our comfort. I highly recommend booking the AlArabesca room, which is located on the ground floor right in front of the pool. Not only is it a beautiful space, but the pool itself is exceptional by riad standards—immaculately maintained and perfect for unwinding. The location is great for accessing the medina, and we found the street parking to be both convenient and very safe. If you’re looking for a boutique riad with world-class hospitality in Fes, Riad Fes Baraka should be at the top of your list. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it without hesitation!"
