"This is such a gem! Cute boutique style hotel that kept is charm but has been updated in the past 5 years (i think 2021) and it is beautiful. Staff is so helpful and pointed out great stores, restaurants, and pubs. They are on the corner of the walkable shopping district (so not in the chaos but easy to go have fun) and only a 5 minute walk to a lovely little park with walking trail. Surprised how much i feel in love with this place. "
"For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary."
"Lovely and charming hotel. Our room was beautiful and the view and location is 5 stars all the way! The breakfast staff were a little snooty but the rest were absolutely wonderful. Be sure to go into the cute town of Kilmare nearby. I would have spent more time there if I’d known about it."

"Very welcoming. The lake hotel was very relaxing and views were great, staff were helpful and the Tea and coffee services excellent. The hotel was set back from the main road which added to its charm and feeling of serenity. Breakfast bar was more than satisfactory, all food was prepared well and they had a large variety of options. The room was nicely appointed and very clean. If we come back to Ireland I guarantee we will be staying at the lake hotel in kilairney again."

"("Diamond" being the welcoming house and "Rough" being the pristine beauty of the Black Valley!) Every bit of our stay was wonderful; the host(s), the house, the location, the moodiness of the weather and the ultra glorious landscape surrounding us. It worked quite well as a central location to explore the Ring of Kerry and neighboring peninsulas, and Agnes was happy to provide suggestions for activities and adventures from which it was a pleasure to return to the Ceim House. Already with memories of a lifetime, we would gladly return to stay here again and again!"

"Our family of five loved our three nights in this little haven. We had a car so made it easy to be out in the country and day trip to the Ring of Kerry and Dingle. A huge lawn where we had a baseball game with our kids and a two cozy movie nights in. Absolutely delightful. "
"Great edge of town location for exploring the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, and other sites in SW Ireland. House is well stocked and comfortable for two couples or a family of four. Easy walk to groceries and reasonable walk to downtown Kenmare. Ann the hostess is very responsive to questions -- highly recommend this property!"
