Amazing Views is Lake City's "Premiere" Vacation Rental! From its perfect location, to the absolutely amazing views and the lake cottage feel, you will love this home! Enjoy Adirondack chairs under the pergola in the summer and cuddle up by the rustic, red brick gas fireplace in the winter. A perfect home for every season. Just a block away from Ohuta Beach and the Marina.

This home is unique and special in so many ways. It is located just 65 miles southeast of the Twin Cities and 35 miles northeast of Rochester, MN (home to the Mayo Clinic). Lake City is a lovely 'seaside-like' town on Minnesota's South Shore of Lake Pepin.

Its cozy, New England Coastal style is sure to please the most discerning guests. It's a spacious 4 bedroom home that comfortably accommodates 2 to 10 people. The home has been completely remodeled with all new ceilings, floors, walls, windows, doors, mechanicals, bathrooms and a modern kitchen (stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops).

The spacious living room, dining room (with custom made farm house table) and kitchen are all open which creates a wonderful "Great Room" space for entertaining family & friends. Each room throughout the house has a wonderful view of the Lake. There is a 42" smart TV that sits on the mantle of a two sided red brick fireplace. The living room features comfortable furnishings, a game table and those unbelievable views of Lake Pepin. The stone patio (with pergola) in front of the house provides more than 300 sq. ft of luxurious outdoor space and has a fire pit surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs and a covered picnic table porch. The perfect place to spend quality time together or just take in the beautiful scenery.

The house - (Sleeps up to 10) - 1800 square feet and has four bedrooms & two baths. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed, private sitting area with a second TV & that red brick fireplace. This room has beautiful windows that offer an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Pepin and Maiden Rock. The second bedroom on the main floor is also very large and has two queen size beds. There are two bedrooms on the second level along with a second full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed with those amazing views of Lake Pepin in every direction you look. The other upstairs bedroom has 2 comfy twin beds that kids and kids at heart will love!

The kitchen is complete in every respect and features stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops. The kitchen counter has a peninsula that is perfect for gathering around; sitting four for meals or serving guests. The dining room features a large table that can seat 10 very comfortably.

Amazing Views is the perfect place for family or friends to get away to. There is lots of open space, yet privacy for those who choose to go to bed early or sleep-in.

Beautiful Home and Location
We have stayed in Lake City many times as it is one of our favorite places to visit and relax but this by far is our favorite place to stay. The house is beautiful and the location couldn't be better, not to mention the hosts are so gracious. The little extras like the yard games and bikes were an added bonus. Thank you Sandy and Eric for making our vacation so relaxing!

Great friends + Amazing Views = Perfect get away
Amazing Views was immaculate! The rooms were well appointed and stocked with all necessities. The beds were comfortable, inside temperature was comfortable, and the appliances worked well. Every light switch was labeled, as well as easily understood instructions posted by the fireplace, washer, dryer, and TV. It was the perfect home to connect with friends, relax, and enjoy the view of the river.

4th of July fun!
This property was perfect for our extended family of 8 and 1 baby. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we needed to prepare lovely family meals and plenty of room to enjoy them in the spacious dining area. The view was great and plenty of outside seating to enjoy it. The location was perfect and we enjoyed walks to the shops in town, the marina and beach area. The house was very clean! I would definitively stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Great location with a beautiful view. It was nice to have two places to relax outside. The kitchen was extremely well appointed with any type of pot, pan, utensil, and coffee contraption you might want. The common area was more spacious than we expected, with six of us visiting or watching a movie in comfort. Should we visit Lake City again for a getaway we will certainly come back. Great communication, we had no issues at all while there and Sandy checked in half-way to be sure all was well.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location.
The home is well equipped and the views are amazing. The only drawback was that it was not as handicapped accessible as we had anticipated. Lovely place for a long weekend getaway!
I rented the house to spend a long weekend celebrating our friend 40th birthday. We had an amazing time! We couldn't have for a better place. The house has everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary gadgets we need it. Everything was clean and organized. The fire place was the gathering spot! We are already think about coming back next year!

Beautiful, relaxing, convenient
My college roommates and I wanted a relaxing stay along the Mississippi River and could not have chosen a better place. This property was spacious, very well kept, and convenient to paces both north (Red Wing and state parks with hiking) and south (eagle center in Wabasha and more parks for hiking). Just a block off Hwy 61 but the set up meant traffic noise was not a problem. We sat outside a lot watching the boats, bald eagles, and families strolling along the river. Would highly recommend this property.

AMAZING VIEWS IS AMAZING
My husband and I just returned from a week stay at Amazing Views and truly fell in love with the house and the Lake City area. Amazing Views is so comfortable for just two people, but lends itself to easy entertaining when you have stay-over guests. Everything is so organized in the house and it is so comfortable inside and out. The views of Lake Pepin are truly amazing. It is so close to the charming town of Lake City. Sharon and John are wonderful hosts and we ended up going on a pontoon boat ride with them as well as some old acquaintances from Rochester, MN. We highly recommend "Amazing Views".

Amazing time for family wedding
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING....Drove in from Michigan for a family wedding in Lake City, what a delight to stay in this house. Sharon if you ever decide to sell call us first. Everything just everything was AMAZING. Loved the heated mattress pad in the master suite. If fact we loved everything, even had time one night to watch movies that were provided. Needed to wrap some presents, tape and scissors were there. How AMAZING. The owner was awsome to work with. Thanks Sharon.

Wonderful Girls Weekend in Lake City!
We had 8 women gather to celebrate friend's upcoming wedding. Everyone enjoyed their own bed, plenty of space to relax, and the amazing views of Lake Pepin. We loved using the kitchen - it had everything we needed. The owners have gone above and beyond to make the place comfortable, accessible and adorable. The first-level master suite and bathroom seemed like they would accomodate someone in a wheelchair. We even walked a few blocks into town and enjoyed the local bakery and antique shops. We mostly had a weekend-in, but would have had no problem finding ways to fill up our weekend with the local sights. We'd love to come back and visit in the summer or fall. Thanks Sharon!!
