"Being Black in a predominantly white community our Stay was pleasant, great view, fishing and atmosphere. Most neighbors were welcoming however stayed to themselves. Local Businesses were very friendly and welcoming. Owners were excellent host as well. Will love to comeback again one day."

"Such a cute lil cabin. Bonfires and comfy beds. Quiet neighborhood & Access to private lake. We stayed here for trail riding. We ended up trailering to Harrison trailhead (about 20 min drive). Rode to Leota and then to Houghton Lake. Don’t trust your gps when finding this place in the dark!! Follow the directions she gives you!!! Will definitely stay here again"

"We enjoyed the house, it was roomy and pretty clean. I would suggest that housekeeping uses unscented soaps and dryer sheets when washing sheets & towels. I am highly sensitive to scents and had a hard time however I brought my own sheets and even though I used my own sheets the scent was still there probably from the mattress cover. "The campground is being updated as it used to be a church camp. Cabin #1 is a cinder block cabin with 3 bedrooms, one shower/toilet/sink room and a common area for relaxing and eating. It was well decorated and comfortable. It has A/C and a couple fans. They thought of everything when they updated this place. The building with the restrooms is also a comfortable place to play games or watch movies. We were able to kayak and enjoy the river easily. We are looking forward to coming back again."
