Complete waterfront vacation paradise on quiet and peaceful Lake Luzerne- limited to 7.5 hp max motors, so mostly kayaks and paddleboards on the lake, along with loons, eagles, and grey herons! Located approx 10 miles from Lake George.
Perfect vacation "nest" for swimming, kayaking, sun bathing, hiking, and just plain relaxing lake side...all while being serenaded by the loons, and nearby Lake Luzerne Music Center. Need to work while away? This home has 2 separate levels- both levels include bathrooms, and bottom level even has a separate kitchenette- perfect for taking that uninterrupted Zoom meeting or call, while the rest of the family enjoys the upper level and full kitchen!
Close enough (10 miles) to take advantage of all the Lake George and Saratoga regions have to offer: Great Escape theme park, Saratoga racetrack, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Whitewater rafting and Lazy river Tubing, Rodeo, golf, Drive In movies, horseback riding, zipline course, and biking: mountain, road, and even rail biking! Great Lake
This lake house makes me want to buy a lake house. The foosball table was a fun addition for the kids. The kitchen was great. A truly log cabin feeling. The only thing I would like to see an improvement on is to the steps leading down to the dock. They were abnormally steep and rocky. Stand in front of your loved one in case they trip or fall. I would like to have had working lights leading down to the dock at night. It was very dark Aside from that it was a great space and location.

Short Enjoyable Stay
Nice two level property with beautiful views of the lake. Our family enjoyed the screened in porch on the upper level. The main kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated having the linen provided. There is a steep walkway down to the lakefront and dock. Quiet location.

Beautiful lakefront stay!
We have been to Lake Luzerne a couple times before, but this house is my favorite! Right on the lake it has beautiful views directly from the house. From down in the dock we got to see an amazing sunset. It is a short 10-15 minute walk to the public beach and a 5 minute paddle at most. My kids opted most times to paddle over. My mom and I enjoyed the upper floor of the house while my 11 and 13 year olds declared the lower floor to be the "kid zone". My kids happily made a whole vacation space for them themselves and my mom and I enjoyed some time to ourselves to chat uninterrupted :)

Wonderful Lakehouse Getaway
This property had fabulous views of the lake, and easy lake access to launch a kayak or paddle board. Loons on the lake enhanced our kayak experience. The house also had a fire pit that we used to enjoy roasted marshmallows and was close to several state parks where we hiked and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and had plates and utensils that we used throughout our stay. The local Hadley rail bike run was also a novel excursion that we did at the suggestion of our wonderful host! Communication with our host was outstanding, and we completely enjoyed our getaway at this lovely property! Highly recommend for a relaxing and restful get away!

Great lakeside stay
We had the pleasure of staying at the “Nest” after traveling to the Adirondack’s for our oldest sons hockey camp. It was our first time in the area And was beautiful! The house was exactly as depicted in the listing and our kids enjoyed the kayaks and sup’s and the little beach on the lake. It was quiet and peaceful and we will definitely be back!

Relaxing Getaway
Very nice quiet getaway. Plenty of space to spread out and to sleep. Nice to be on the water and having the kayaks was great. Be prepared for the stairs from the water back to the house😵‍💫 well worth it and good cardio. The Host is great and very easy to contact and gets back quickly. We had no issues and an amazing stay would recommend for anyone

Parking is a unacceptable
The house has a nice view of the lake. Was forced to park on grass over an ant hill. My car is now infested. You are not allowed any guests for even a short visit without signing a new lease. I met an old friend at the supermarket. I asked him to join us for dinner. Texted the property manager with his car info. She showed up 15 minutes later with paperwork for me to fill out and sign for the visitor’s car. We were below the maximum car allowance of three. This was unacceptable to pull me from cooking to review a new lease agreement.

Don’t know what we expected
From the moment we walked in the rental was more than we expected. I am very lucky to say my husband, his twin brother and his wife all love staying at new VRBO’s and exploring new towns. We came in for the Adirondack food and wine festival and stayed at Lake front nest. More than enough room and Diane was fantastic to work with. Hoping to be able to bring our grown children and their spouses next time! Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

Mothers Day/Girls weekend
This is our second anual girls weekend, we love this place. The view was awesome and all the amenities this place has are great, Maybe it was to early in the season because it was not crowded at all. the kayaking, paddle boarding and walking were great. We will defenitrly come back. La vista estuvo muy bonita, lo pasamos de lo mejor mis amigas y yo celebrando nuestro dia de las madres, es el segundo anio que rentamos un lugar entre amigas y lo mas probable es que regresemos a este bello lugar. muy amplio y limpio con muchas actividades para hacer, patio con lumbrada bastante grande, un desayunador con vista al rio, perfecto el lugar, lo mas probable es que regresemos

Very Relaxing
We had a very relaxing long weekend. Diane, the property manager was great. She checked up on us to see if there was anything out of place or anything we needed and gave us plenty of suggestions of things to do and good restaurants. We had a very nice time !

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway
The beds were firm and uncomfortable. One sheet was ripped. The Kayaks were good to have but the long kayak was not meant for beginners and there was only one complete kayak paddle. The property was overall nice.
