We love staying at the Crown Plaza! The views from every room are beautiful, the staff is always pleasant and happy to help, and the room is always clean and comfortable. We especially love the convenience of the location to all the best shops and restaurants in Lake Placid, you can park and don't have to move your car again because everything is walkable from the hotel.

The views of the High Peaks and Mirror Lake from the Great Room were spectacular. The food was tasty, and more reasonably priced than many of the main street restaurants. Dinner service was wonderful; breakfast seemed to be a bit under-staffed, but everyone was friendly. There doesn't seem to be any staff to help with bags, and some of the rooms are quite far from the front desk.

Our stay was good. We stayed in the pine wing which was nice but the bathroom shower could use some work. Front staff were nice and the breakfast buffet was good. Only thing was the pool was on the cold side. Kids were shivering while they were playing. It was also great being able to bring our dog with us.
