Located in the Heart of Truckee, this rental is super convenient for exploring the best the area has to offer! Enter the home by the main kitchen/dining area from the front porch. The open area offers stone floors, custom cabinets and granite countertops and kitchen island with bar stools. A stylish picnic style dining set give a welcoming and family friendly vibe. Sliding glass doors off the kitchen/dining area give the home a glowing natural light. A fenced yard and outdoor seating area is a great addition for the kids.
Journey down the hall to the main living area. This room is appointed with new hardwood flooring, a comfy leather couch, gas fireplace and a flat screen cable/tv/dvd and game station. A video game library is available for guest's use. A shared bath offers a laundry closet, unique stone work and a stand up shower. One Queen bedroom is located on the main floor.
Walk up the stairs where two more bedrooms await. The first to the left is a Queen master suite with private bath and stand up shower and double sinks. To the right is the final bedrooms, with a queen bed. There is an additional sleeping space with bunks and twins (4 twins total); perfect for the kids! These rooms each offer a door that opens directly into the shared bath. This bathroom is appointed with a separate area for toilet and bathtub/shower combo-making it easy for kids and teens to share this space.
The two car garage offers a plug in for a Tesla, or similar electric vehicle, for your use. There is also a Tesla supercharger location within walking distance, at the Safeway across the street.
The fun artwork and decorative touches in the "Heart of Truckee" give a modern but comfortable feeling throughout. Minutes to hiking, Mt. Biking, skiing, Donner Lake...the options are endless for adventure in the High Sierras!

There is no AC in Tahoe. To keep the property cool, open the windows and sliders at night to let cool air in, then close the windows, doors and blinds when you leave for the day.

Please remember that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
