This was a nice place. I would have given it 5 stars but the lighting, as in light bulbs in the room, needs improvement. It's way too dark and difficult to see. Almost impossible to put on make-up.

Very close to the lake and a short walk (5 mins) to the shops and restaurants in the main town area. Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Pool and sitting areas are good for relaxing. A great place to stay to explore the Lake Tahoe area.

We have always liked our room but this time it was so dark. The lighting was very dim. We couldn't even read a book in the room. Besides that issue we enjoyed our stay.
