"Sunset Cottage was perfect for our family’s overnight stay! I wish we could have stayed longer. The decor is adorable, the furniture is amazingly comfortable, and the location is quiet and peaceful. There were so many little additions that made this cottage perfect—a few snacks, a s’mores kit, and coffee were available for guests. The host went above and beyond to let us know our daughter left her blankie behind in the cottage and us sending it to us. We would definitely stay here again and...

"The home is located in a small community with trees and winding roads. It is close enough to conveniences should you forget something. The home is large with plenty to do right in the house. We were also able to take a walk around the neighborhood and a hike in a park with a lake just a short drive away. The huge master shower is amazing! The pullout couches are a plus. Appreciated the startup of many essentials and availability of cleaning supplies to keep the house tidy during our stay....

"This was our third time here. It's a lovely cabin but the hot tub was not hot enough. The string lights outside were not functional. I inquired the first day and they said they would send someone to fix them the next day. They did not which was disappointing."

"We rented this cabin with 2 other families with small children to celebrate the New Year. We had hoped to venture out and hike but the rain prevented us from being able to do that. Fortunately, we had picked this cabin due to its size and entertainment value with the game room and hot tub. The property was amazing and very well kept. All 3 families were comfortable. "We loved our stay in this cabin. It was spotless, well stocked with everything we needed. Spacious first floor area and nicely decorated. Beautiful views with the fall leaves. Wish we had more time to spend at the cabin, but we will definitely rent again. Easy drive to Morehead State. "

"The owner was so kind. We got there early and the owner helped us access it. We really appreciated it. The cabin was perfect and very clean. I recommend putting small trash cans in the bedrooms, a small table on the other side of the couch, a water filter pitcher in the fridge and some hooks on the back of the bathroom door, but overall this place could not have been any better. The fire pit was great. We cooked hot dogs and made smores. It was perfect. Everything worked exactly how it should. "

"We loved it! Nice area to walk & explore, convenient to lakes, trails, and sports for that. Saw some historic arches & covered bridges. This was a ‘scouting’ trip for a longer one later. Will definitely come again with the ATV, and maybe get to Louisville too!"

"Nice little cabin with a water view. Very clean! Owner called and let us know check in details. The fire ring outside was very nice. Lots of towels! Only suggestion might be to offer a bundle of firewood for additional cost. We gathered up some stucks and made one though. "

Great way to bring in the New Year!

"We rented this cabin with 2 other families with small children to celebrate the New Year. We had hoped to venture out and hike but the rain prevented us from being able to do that. Fortunately, we had picked this cabin due to its size and entertainment value with the game room and hot tub. The property was amazing and very well kept. All 3 families were comfortable. The kids used the upstairs bedroom to make a movie theatre and hang out and watch movies. The poker table was nice for us adults to sit around and play games. The kitchen was very well stocked to prepare food for such a large group. They even donate usable food at the end of the stay which I thought was an amazing gesture and made me feel far less guilty than when I throw it away at all the other properties I’ve visited since I didn’t have the means to travel back with it. The only thing I could even begin to complain about was the pool table cues needed to be re-tipped but we still played and enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you!"
