"What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be provided with bedding, towels and soap. The only downside for us - as we are both over 60 was the steep staircase (which was clearly pictured) - but we did get used...

"An amazing place. I read some of the negative reviews prior to booking and given the high standards that we were met with it hard to believe some of the comments. The room was finished to a high standard and was magnificently equipped. It’s right on the beach and the pool facilities looked great although we did not have time to use. We will 100% stay here again. "

"The complex and pool were lovely. The 3-bedroomed apartment was basically a 2-bedroomed with a bunk bed placed in the entrance hall. This is fine if you've got older children, but I wouldn't have been comfortable with younger children sleeping there. Very clean and had everything we needed, except the listing on VRBO states that there are towels provided. We were told on check in that this wasn't the case. There is also no hairdryer, washer, dryer. Well I didn't find them if they were there...

There were six of us, parents plus 4 teenage children, and the house was perfectly appointed. "One week in a one bedroom apartment at the end of the summer. Apartments were quiet as French children had gone back to school so mainly couples and a few British families staying. Meant pool was quiet most of time with plenty of sunbeds. Twenty minute walk to supermarket, boulangerie and restaurants. Quiet beach opposite. Apartment was well used but clean and ideal for two. Would be a bit crowded with four. Not much storage."

"L'appartement est tel que décrit dans l'annonce. Madame Gérard m'a donné des indications très claires pour mon arrivée. L'appartement est au 3e étage et il y a un ascenseur. C'est très bien situé, à 2 pas du centre et l'accès aux remparts est juste à côté. Je n'ai rien de négatif à dire!"

Only a few minutes walk from a gorgeous patisserie, the place it’s self has been beautifully and lovingly designed to a very high standard and our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer. "I was very happy with this hotel. It is located directly on the waterfront, a short 10min walk away from Intramuros, and a 15min walk from the TGV train station. My room (fourth floor, street side) was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed and a very good shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and they all spoke English for the times when my (very limited) French gave out. Breakfast was excellent. A great selection of bread, including croissants, jams, cold cuts, juices, cereal, and pastries. Additionally, there are freshly-prepared eggs and crepes. The breakfast room doubles as a creperie / tea salon during the day. One very minor issue was that the elevator was out of order during my stay, and my room was on the fourth floor. Not an issue for me, but it might have been a problem for guests with limited mobility. Overall 5/5 rating, would book again in a heartbeat."
