"The Neuhausen Erzgebirge area is absolutely beautiful and this home is perfect for those wanting a quiet peaceful stay. Very close to Seiffen with all of the nutcrackers, smoking men, and pyramids. Neuhausen has the greatest collection of nutcrackers at their museum and is a must see! The home though is very comfortable and spacious and clean...it is as advertised. There are steep steps leading up to the bedrooms, so if that is a concern, beware. Loved this place and our stay!"

You can take train to Dresden but to explore area you will need a car. There are many castles around Dresden and about 30 to 45 minutes drive from property. We had a wonderful time and if you do not want to be in the city the whole time, this is an excellent choice."

Aber auch bei schlechtem Wetter kann man von Bärenfels aus viel Interessantes erreichen, so z.B. das Uhrenmuseum in Glashütte, was unbedingt einen Besuch...
