"I stayed in the villas . This is a true home away from home. Best kept secret in Newquay. One if the best properties i have stayed in ."

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

"We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business....

"Fabulous location, cottage comfortable and spotless, kitchen well equipped. Bedlinen and pillows, duvet good quality. Shame no towels provided.Garden not huge but secure and pet friendly, more than adequate with the dog friendly beach less than 5 minutes away. Patio nice and private.Turn into lane and parking for cottage very tight, needs extra care."

From day 1 it appeared to be a problem with some sort of blokage and contractor out every morning trying to sort it out. The foul stench left behind after contractor finished was quite overwhelming, especially coming back into the main bedroom ensuite toilet. Thankfully we were out and about everyday with friends, so only had to contend with...

"The site is beautifully kept and very pretty. The accommodation and facilities was clean and well presented, although needed some TLC in places. "Excellent location. Easy to find. Got plenty of car parking spaces. The room is very spacious. Great shower. Room is clean and well equipped. Good to have a bottle of water in the room. Kate at the reception is kind, friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast. The hotel is quiet and has beautiful mountain view. However, the bed seems to be a bit too soft. "

Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa - Adults Only

5/5 Excellent

"We booked a last minute stay at the Fistral Beach in a sea view double and what a view it was over Fistral Beach. The room was clean and a good size so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. The bathroom was clean with a range of products to use if you don’t want to take your own. My only grip was that it was a shower over a bath but that is a personal preference and the shower was powerful. We ate, twice in the Bay Bar, the staff were friendly, engaging and went above and beyond to make sure you had a good experience. The real highlight was breakfast each morning, where Sarah and Neil welcome you and make the start to your day a fabulous one - they make you feel like you’ve known them forever. The car park is small but we didn’t struggle to get a space, however that might be different in peak season. The same for the on road parking, there was plenty of spaces but I’m sure they’ll be limited during the summer months. We didn’t have any treatments but we did use the pool and jacuzzi, which were clean and a nice amenity to have on site. We were able to walk from the hotel in to Newquay town centre along the SW coastal path and through the golf club, which took approximately 20mins to Sainsbury’s. "
