All amenities were in place including an effective air-con system and modern appliances in a quirky, traditional setting. "The Cob House is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, an exemplary example of just how little we need to be happy. The host and all the animals about were incredibly welcoming. "This was a nice unit in a good position. The kitchen was good, but the mircowave was not working. The decor is very dated and the lounges need to be fixed or replaced. There are planks of wood under the cushions for support which is uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable. It is a hassle bringing your own sheets and towels. There downpipes were leaking so when it rained there was constant dripping all night. We called it the water torture. Otherwise it was a pleasant place to stay."
