"A lovely night away for my daughter’s birthday. All the staff were very attentive. We received a lovely warm welcome and the breakfast and evening meal was exceptional. The waiter brought out a surprise ‘happy birthday’ on a plate with cake at the end that really made our meal very special. We enjoyed the spa and the beds were very comfortable. A super hotel for a lovely laid back relaxing break."

"Great place to stay, food good, comfý bed and the staff are all extremely helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when going to that part of Cornwall. My only negative comment is the indoor pool was cold and it has a outdoor jacuzzi which is cold too, they have just had this refurbished so maybe management will be improving the problem. They provide a shuttle bus to Polzeath and Rock, from Rock you can get the little ferry across to Padstow. The area is quite and relaxing with a few restsurants around, however the hotel restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. "
