Chosen for my daughter’s graduation at the University Of Birmingham and for the onsite restaurant to celebrate afterwards.
-Main issue is parking. I have 2 elderly parents who both have a blue badge but parking is abysmal and we struggled with that.
-Only 1 lift was working which was an issue (1mobility scooter etc), so we had to wait long times to navigate floors as walking not an option.
-No heating in hotel. Not a problem for us but my parents found it cold despite being given portable heaters.
-Our balcony room was lovely but sadly above the bed was a collection of contact lenses on the ceiling where previous occupants have “flicked” them up.
In conclusion, it’s a lovely hotel but there were issues that took the shine of what was a lovely break away.

"Bedroom relaxing, beautiful furniture. Well looked after. Nice ale on tap in bars and comfortable seating in bar and restaurant. Deer are in quieter part of grounds and some beautiful trees. "Attending a show at NEC, first time staying at Arden Hotel. Arrived late evening to BHX, directions to hotel are unclear, but the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Railway station via NEC.
