Doors entrance code was given wrong on the email so we spent more than 20 min outside while someone let us in, because nobody answered the number that was given as an emergency after hours contact. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Nook even though it was a quick visit for one night. Patrick was very helpful throughout the entire experience and even let us use his personal freezer to store some items. The house was lovely along with the grounds/landscaping. The only recommendation I would make is the interior needed a little sprucing up maybe with a fresh coat of paint in a couple of the rooms."

"Oonagh was fabulous with communicating before, during and after our stay. Her home was as described and very clean. She and her family were very generous with their hospitality. Our Shi-Tzu, Teddy, was made very welcome and we also enjoyed the company of Salem and Poppy. The location is perfect for exploring both Dublin and the beautiful Wicklow hills. We look forward to having another opportunity to spend time in Oonagh's lovely home."

"Beautiful property and lovely host! The only thing wrong was that we only stayed two nights. Would have loved to have taken the baking class offered. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and unwind this is the place! And the breakfast was incredible! "

"The location is very nice, next to the beach. There is quite a lot of traffic during the day which is an issue since the road is right next to the house and the insulation is quite poor. It took a while to figure out things like wifi, using the shower, how the central heating works etc because sadly there were no instructions. Some of the towels were very dirty. Also there was no soap, shampoo or hand wash. Outside the kitchen door there was a broken piece of plastic which made a lot of noise...

"This is a fantastic rental for anyone wanting to stay in the Dublin area, but in a quieter neighborhood outside of the city. It is a short walk to the train station for getting into Dublin, but also close to two small local towns that have all the amenities anyone could need. "A comfortable property with some nice touches from the host - like a stock of games and tennis rackets and balls so that we could make use of the tennis courts on the site. Lovely, lifeguarded sandy beach ten minutes walk away and a short drive (15 min) to both Arklow and Wicklow. Lots of great attractions within 30-40 min drive too."

"The most beautiful surroundings and views from here and the property was well laid out, comfortable and worked really well for our group of 6. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great and the wood burning stove was a lovely touch on chllly evenings. Communication was great and it was a great stay. I would highly recommend this place."
