"Lovely quiet villa, very well equipped, beds very comfy. We did use the washing machine which clearly had'nt been used for a while as during and after there was a distinct unpleasant drain odour, and we used up the water allocation for that day. So could'nt shower (the owner did warn us of the water limit per day!). Overall though we would come back!"

"Villa location nice and quiet with a short walk to bars and restaurants. Villa exterior well maintained and roomy. However interior dated, with damp and musky smell in main bedroom. Wooden window frames rotten and black. 6 sunbeds all extremely worn with one broken. Water from air conditioning making parts of outside wet and slippy. Pool shower did not work and looking at earlier reviews has not worked since at least January. Bedding was also old and discoloured. Contacted agent who apologised...

"Excellent location and a very nice little villa. A few issues with facilities that didn't work properly and the property manager didn't always respond in a timely manner but for the price, I'd happily recommend it."

"Villa Carmen is situated in a quiet area with stunning views. Small supermarket 5 mins walk away. 35 mins walk into the main part of Playa Blanca. We made full use of the pool and hot tub and the games room was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend this villa."

"Lovely villa , great outdoor space , only 3 of us on this holiday but could easily accommodate 6 and more, kitchen is a great size , lots of equipment, living room is absolutely huge! But lovely to chill out in for a night in or after a night out. Lots of wardrobe space, plenty of storage in all bedrooms.Pool man was really friendly and came often. Linen was changed during our 2 week stay, she was lovely too. It does back on to a road, but it’s minimal noise, we loved hearing the school...

"Villa had everything needed for a relaxing stay by the beach. Was great to swim in the pool every day (my son did cut his foot on something sharp in the pool presumably left by previous guests). It was a nice touch to have some oil and spices available for cooking. Wound recommend."

"We very much enjoyed our stay - the house is spacious, tastefully furnished and in what we think is a great location in our preferred (and quieter) part of Playa Blanca, but still just a short walk from Playa Flamingo beach, Spar supermarket and the village centre. The outdoor area has lots of good seating and sun loungers, and the pool, though small, was a pleasure. We felt very well looked after by Suzanne, who is a very efficient and welcoming host."
