"Our room and the hotel was lovely, but I did not appreciate the walk between the two or to the pool, beach bar and beach. A golf buggy service would go a long way to easing the steep hills and some steps to the beach rather than that slippery sandy slope would be good. My only other criticism was that the cooked breakfasts, especially the eggs, were not cooked fresh and were overcooked and cold. All the staff were lovely, friendly, efficient and cheerful. "Lovely place - beautiful grounds which are expertly and lovingly cared for by a local, master Gardner. Our accommodation was basic, clean, and lovely - Upper block which meant some meandering from Fanari Rd but so easily accessible from the main rd going into Lassi and Argostoli. We loved the beautiful views, the hospitality, the nice little bar with a library (!) and reasonably priced drinks. We didn't partake of the pool but I should mention that everything is spotless. If you love wildlife...

"The hotel is located in Lassi, and is just a short journey from the airport (approx 10 mins). The taxi journey was $20 from airport to hotel, and $25 from hotel back to airport, although a bus is available. The location is absolutely perfect for the amazing Makris Gialos beach, and a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the beginning of a road full of restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop is directly outside the hotel. It looked as though the hotel and pool area had been completed...
