"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. "The unit at Central Point was great for an extended business trip as it had a full kitchen and laundry machine. The unit I ended up in was a bit older than the pictures suggested but I figure that's just down to differences between units. Area was very central with many food and entertainment options. Only caveat is that it could get a bit loud on a Friday and Saturday night which wasn't an issue for me as it was the weekend. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a central location...

"The room was very dark, so not the best for getting ready to go out. Everything else was good. Shower is great, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. They did run out of plates quite often and I had to hold up the queue for a bit while waiting for a plate. The coffee was ridiculous, my husband likes strong coffee but honestly it was like gravy, he had to put a whole milk jug in and it still wasn't really drinkable. No idea what went wrong there! "I was at this hotel for Business for 5 nights, but it was also a great place for after work leisure. The training room and surrounding refreshment areas were more than adequate and the environment is relaxing. Roger who was on the reception for the training rooms was very efficient and accommodating. Thank you The main reception and bar staff are very smart and professional. The leisure side was also very good for the gym, sauna , steam room and pool.. "
