Beautiful apartment, between sea and mountain, nicely decorated and spacious, located on the first floor of a residential building (3 floors) with direct access to the beach from the corner. Enjoy the large terrace to eat, relax and enjoy the occasional porpoise that dance off. You will also enjoy the beautiful sunsets, the future stars of football practicing on the beach and if you are early morning, the famous seine fishing scene. Let try and give them a little help, you will be rewarded. From your room, enjoy the refreshing breeze coming down from the peaks of Carbet. Do not forget your sandals to cross the beach because it heats 9:30 am. Evening stroll between small shy crabs and enjoy a cocktail night in bars and restaurants from the beach.

Wonderful view of Pelican Beach
Second floor apartment with a large balcony next to and overlooking Pelican Beach. The balcony contains a 6ft long sitting couch and table and chairs for 6 people. The apartment sits next to a bakery and the smell in the morning is incredible. The two bedrooms have very good air conditioning. The living room has another 6ft long rugged couch with a pull out single bed. We ate all our meals in the apartment, the kitchen was adequately stocked ( could have used a larger cutting board, a few large cutting knieves and potato masher though). The best part of this apartment is the balcony with its expansive view of the beach and ocean . You can see fishermen bringing in their catch in the morning and a dozen or more pelicans surrounding them in hopes of catching an unwanted fish. You can see cruise ships leaving port in Fort de France around 6:30 in the evening. The beach is good for swimming but lacks shade close to the water edge. We had a delightful two week stay in Francoise Duffys' apartment.

Lovely stay and superb view / Séjour agréable et vue magnifique
En français ci-bas. My husband and I had a lovely one-week stay. The appartment is as described, pretty, spacious, and well-equiped. We adored the large, intimate patio that offers a superb view of the Caribbean sea. The reserved parking space is a plus in that area. It is a good location to visit the north of the island : the mountains, Saint-Pierre, le Prêcheur... And, when returning from our excursions, it was great to come back to the appartment and simply walk across the garden to jump into the sea! As mentioned in other comments, the 'Le Coin' beach is animated, especially on weekends and holidays. Evenings and nights are quiet, so one sleeps well. However, the noise of trafic and of the bakery make it difficult to sleep in... but allowed us to appreciate the calmness of the seaside mornings, as well as fresh bread! Thanks to Françoise and to Mrs Saliber for their kindness; communicating with them was easy. A special thanks to Mrs Saliber for her punctuality when we arrived and when we left. We recommend this rental and would love to return. Mon mari et moi avons fait un très agréable séjour d'une semaine. L'appartement est joli, spacieux, bien équipé et conforme à la description. Nous avons adoré la terrasse, grande, intime, avec une vue superbe sur la mer. L'espace de stationnement réservé est appréciable dans ce secteur. C'est un très bon endroit pour visiter le nord de l'île : les montagnes, Saint-Pierre, le Prêcheur... Et, au retour des nos excursions, quel bonheur de revenir à l'appartement et de simplement traverser le jardin pour aller se baigner dans la mer. Tel que mentionné dans les autres commentaires, la plage du Coin est animée, surtout les fins de semaine et les jours fériés. Les soirées et les nuits sont calmes, alors on dort bien. Par contre, les bruits de la circulation et de la boulangerie font en sorte qu'on se lève tôt... ce qui permet d'apprécier les matins tranquilles côté plage et le bon pain frais! Merci à Françoise et à Mme Saliber pour leur gentillesse et la facilité avec laquelle on peut communiquer avec elles. Merci aussi à Mme Saliber pour sa ponctualité lors de notre arrivée et de notre départ. Nous recommandons cette location et aimerions y retourner.

Perfect Island Getaway!
Great location right on the beach adjacent to a wonderful pastry shop and restaurants. The place was nicely decorated and had all the features we wanted. The place has off street gated parking. Electric hot water is a bonus too for larger groups. Françoise was very accommodating to our travel times and speaks very good English. We will be returning to this paradise next year.

Bien placé sur la route du nord ouest, juste sur la plage, boulangerie au pied de la résidence et restaurants sur la plage. Grande terrasse pour prendre les repas. Très pratique quand on a des enfants.

Emplacement parfait
Appartement bien agencé, on vit (voire on dort!) sur la terrasse. Un petit transat pour lire sur cette fabuleuse terrasse serait bienvenu. Emplacement ideal pour découvrir le nord de l'île.

Très bonne situation
L'appartement est idéalement placé à l'entrée du Carbet, facile d'accès, parking fermé et plage à 50m. La clim fonctionne bien et c'est nécessaire en été ! L'appartement était propre mais il aurait besoin d'un rafraichissement de peinture et de reprendre un peu la salle de bain et la cuisine. Les canapés sont peu confortables également. Bonne réactivité de réponse de la propriétaire et de la personne en charge de la location qui nous a fait réparer un robinet défectueux en 24h. Bref, c'est pas luxueux mais le reste est très bien.

Perfect Location and very nice flat
The flat is situated on a perfect location. Next to the house is a bakery, the beach opposite the flat, a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The flat was very clean with everything you need. For the air conditioning in bedrooms we were very happy and the wifi worked perfectly. the secured parking was also a plus, so you never had to look for a parking space in the evening. We can highly recommend the flat and would book it again should we be in Carbet. thanks for letting us be your guests!

Les pieds dans l’eau
Logement spacieux, vue mer, une boulangerie à 10 mètres de la résidence et deux restaurants accès par la plage à 2 et 10 minutes à pied. Seul petit inconvénient, le parking devant la terrasse qui tourne beaucoup du fait de la boulangerie. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Location pieds dans l'eau
Belle appartement spacieux et très bien placé. Possibilité d'aller faire ses courses à pieds. Boulangerie et la plage au pied de l'appartement, les restaurants, un marchand de fruits et légumes, un super U express où il y a tout ce qu'il faut à prix raisonnables. C'est un endroit animé en journée certains jours mais calme le soir. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement. Je le recommande vivement.

Nous avons appréciez cet endroit , la plage est agréable et cet endroit est bien situé pour visiter le nord de la Martinique. Seul petit bémol : les moustiques. L'appartement est très agréable avec une très belle terrasse qui nous offre une belle vue sur la mer. Merci

Splendide!!
Comme d’habitude un séjour IDÉAL !! (déjà 3 fois que l’on vient !) L’appartement est très agréable décoré avec soin ni trop surchargé ni désuet de goût. Tout y est et la terrasse est tellement agréable pour ceux qui veulent profiter du calme et d’une vue magnifique !!! Merci à la propriétaire Francoise pour la rapidité des réponses et son accueil et à la personne sur place qui est d’une gentillesse absolue !!! Et très réactive (petit problème de wifi regle dans l’heure !!) et appart respectant les mesures sanitaires bref pour nous c’est « Notre appartement » au Carbet !!! comme disent les enfants Nadège et Christophe

Super vue sur la mer. Belle terrasse et appartement bien agencé.
Propriétaire super sympa. Malgré le confinement, nous avons pu passer quelques jours au soleil avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Nous avons dû quitter prématurément la location et mettre fin à nos vacances. Toutefois la propriétaire a été très compréhensive et nous a rembourser les jours restant non occupé. Merci beaucoup.

Appartement confortable mais environnement bruyant
Malgré le paiement du ménage en fin de séjour ; la propreté de l'appartement est à revoir poussières pas faites; beaucoup de sable sur le sol. Le matelas du grand lit double n'est pas confortable et devrait être changé. Appartement bien situé mais environnement tres bruyant avec beaucoup de passage.

Séjour parfait au Carbet
Très bel appartement idéalement situé sur la plage du Carbet, plus précisément dans le quartier du Coin. Très bien équipé et doté d une grande terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Il y a plusieurs restaurants à proximité et une excellente boulangerie au pied de l immeuble. A recommander pour un sejour au Carbet !
