The courtyard with covered dining area and “plancha grill” for outdoor cooking were a great bonus. An impressive garden and plunge pool was also most appreciated. The host, Jo, was available personally or by phone to answer any questions. Her advice and guidance on local events and places to visit was invaluable. We look forward to returning soon. Ian."

"We loved our stay here. The gite is huge - massive large living space, large bedrooms (with very comfy beds) and a big walk in shower with double sink layout. Although the site is shared with another Gite and BandB guests the layout means everyone has total privacy and only the pool is shared. Beautiful gardens out the back - horses to pet in the paddock. So peaceful and calm, we loved it. A little remote - 15-20 mins drive to nearest shops."

Van de "eigenaar" heb ik nooit een telefoonnummer gekregen, hoewel ik daar expliciet om gevraagd heb. "Cold dark and dirty"

"I wanted somewhere in the heart of French countryside that could accommodate a family and a dog. The house was full of character with a huge garden and had complete privacy. There was everything we could possibly need and Jenns was the perfect host. We had plenty of interesting sites to visit by car but also loved spending time at "home" with a bbq and garden games. "Everything and everyone were great at the Hôtel Emeraude. We were welcomed warmly, told where the room was which was bright and spacious and had air-con which was a bonus as it was a hot day. We were advised on where to park, breakfast and dining options. The area around the hotel is gorgeous and there is a lovely view on the lake from the terrace where we had dinner. I wouldhappily stay there again."
