"Beautiful little property in the quiet village of Préguillac. Not far to the coast and an hour drive from La Rochelle and Bordeaux with lots of beautiful Vineyards to visit in between, and a 10 minute drive to Saintes with lots of restaurants and bars, as well as good shopping. Brilliant and welcoming hosts with cute dogs, will miss breakfast and coffee by the pool in the mornings."

"Cadre agréable, calme, vacances reposantes, piscine raffraichissante. Propriétaires accueillants et discrets. Seul bémol, la location ne comporte pas deux chambres comme écrit dans l'annonce. Les couchages enfants sont dans l'espace salle à manger/cuisine et le couchage pour les adultes se trouve dans une pièce attenante séparée d'une cloison seulement au 3/4. Même si nous avons maqué d'intimité, nous avons passé un séjour agréable."

"The house was exactly as described, so very French. Well equipped for all members of the family, secure even for toddlers and the location was perfect."

"After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. "The hotel was converted from an old distillery. Everything looks and feels ultra modern; if you like ultra modern, then it's good. Because of the conversion, things seem spread out. It took us a little effort to find the restaurants. The restaurant has a Michelin star and is good. The brasserie is great. Also, plenty of parking space. "

"Room was ideal for what we wanted. Close enough to center with free parking available. Restaurants and supermarkets walkable. Easy check in and out. Good value for what we got. Good budget option. Only negative was room could be cleaner in places but to be expected so not to bothered. Very happy overall"
