The resort has a small and charming day lodge, ski rental facilities and a cozy café, so you can relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Begin your day on the slopes at the Lecht Centre, a beautifully designed day lodge that contains the ticket office, rental area and gear shop, as well as a café and bar facilities. Get fitted with rental ski or snowboard gear or test some of the facility’s new lines of equipment.
The Lecht has a network of more than 10 surface lifts and one chairlift. Explore the resort’s slopes, which are mostly intermediate runs. Beginners and those who want to work on their technique can take private or group lessons, offered daily by the Lecht Ski School.
Spend the day carving tracks on the slopes and exploring the mountain ridges, enjoying views of the beautiful surrounding Cairngorms mountain range. Snowboarders and freestyle skiers can check out the ramps, kickers and rails in the terrain park. Take a break back at the base village and enjoy a hot cup of coffee at the Lecht Centre’s café.

The nearest train station is at Aviemore, a 50-minute drive away. Public transportation access to the Lecht is limited, with shuttle buses operating from Aberdeen on snowy days. There are no accommodations on the mountain. Find lodging in nearby villages offering cottages and hotel rooms. The resort’s ski season usually runs between December and late March.
