"I often stay at Lake View Lodge when I visit the east side of Yosemite. It's only 15-20 min to Tioga Entrance and is very conveniently located. The facilities are dated but clean and I have no complaints."

The only interesting place we can access to from Lee Vining was June Lake, Some other sights were either too far or closed due to snow.
