A luxurious en-suite double is located on the ground floor, and another double is found in the eaves on the top floor, boasting an en-suite shower room and balcony.
A short stroll away, Lygia boasts some of the finest tavernas and one of the best bakeries on the island. A couple of pebble beaches are within a 15-minute walk, and it's entirely feasible to enjoy a holiday here without a car, thanks to Gaia's proximity to Lefkada Town, where affordable taxis abound, and the options for shopping, dining, and nightlife are superb.
Just five minutes inland by car, you'll find Katouna, a charming working village with three excellent tavernas in the square and an authentic atmosphere at its heart. An evening out here is not to be missed, and during the summer months, you can partake in a bit of Greek dancing or join the locals for an Ouzo while watching the revelry pass by.
Lefkada's inland villages and mountains remain unspoiled and every bit as captivating as the coastline, and the Toretta Villas are ideally positioned for exploring it all.
With the sea tantalizingly close, no trip here would be complete without venturing out on the water. Whether you choose to rent a paddleboard, hire a boat, or board the ferry to Meganissi in nearby Nidri, the experience is not to be missed.
