"The hotel was in a great position. Our room had a double aspect and in one view overlooked the harbour and the other view was over towards the estuary of the Seine. The staff were excellent, speaking French at first and when we had trouble, reverting to English. The hotel as a whole was clean and interesting. Becuase of the hotel's age some of the floors were not perfectly horizontal and the tairs were historic!"

"Have used hotels in the Campanile chain before, and this one was well up to standard.. The room was clean comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful Would have no hesitation in using this hotel again"

"Although near the beach, the hotel is not on the beach, as it appears in the photos. Rooms are renovated but very simple, smelly toilet area and shower-head that sprayed on the ceiling. Not a bad stay, but definitely not a 4-star hotel, 3-star at best. Not worth the price, unfortunately. "
