"After our pervious week in 2022, we were delighted to return to Eileen's rental house. We were warmly welcomed, and then left to settle in. We appreciated Eileen contacting her "fish man" who came by and we purchased fresh scallops, hake and a fish new to us. We enjoyed the remoteness and the comfort of the house, settling in the big chairs to read and watch the changing views of the bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return."

"Beautiful location on the water. Fireplace for turf fires. Basic accommodations but basic is all you need in such a fantastic locality. The folks in Carna were accommodating. Be careful while driving here - but you probably already know that."

"If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! This house was just perfect for our stay in Galway. It was immaculate, comfortable and very spacious for our large family. Deirdre was an amazing host and not only gave us some fantastic suggestions and advice of things to do in the area, her hospitality, friendliness and welcome basket was an unexpected bonus to our stay as well. We had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable including a well stocked kitchen so we could stay and eat in when we wanted. There were also several outdoor seating areas that were very comfortable and inviting. After visiting the hustle and bustle of Dublin and Killarney it was nice being a little outside of Galway in the quiet countryside, yet close enough to enjoy both Galway and the Aran Islands. I highly recommend Deirdre's home!"

"Perfect cottage for our five day stay. Everything we needed was available. It was spacious and comfortable. Janet, The host was lovely. We also loved the location. Short walk to Galway Bay and short drive to the ferry to get to Inis Mor. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this cottage if Western Ireland is your destination. "

"We loved our stay in Callow which is the best location in Connemara. The information provided by the hosts was great and helped us plan our walks and activities every day. The local beach is beautiful and quiet and great for a swim. At low tide you can walk to the island and explore which the kids loved. The mountain & sea views from every part of the house are spectacular and there are nice seating areas dotted all over the gardens to enjoy. "
