Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
Likes: The staff is friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were fine. The water is hot. The heating/air conditioning unit worked fine.
Needs improvement: Room 221 had several issues: shower head leaked, walls and ceiling in bathroom had damaged drywall, refrigerator door opened the opposite way than it should, countertop surface in kitchen area had many chips and dings from excessive wear and use, television is a bit dated.
Comments: The exterior of the hotel looks fine as does the entrance and main foyer and front desk area. When you walk into the room, it’s almost like stepping back into time as the room fixtures (lamps, etc.) are dated and worn. Fresh paint on the walls and trim would be a big help. Updated countertops and fresh carpet would go a long way to dress up the rooms. I noticed that there were not too many people staying there while I was there for one week. With the military base nearby and all of the other lodging options, I feel ownership/management should consider sprucing up the rooms to be more competitive with the other national chain hotels nearby. It’s a great location and situated in a quiet business park. Very convenient location for military/government or contractor persons working on the base.
