"We were very comfortable at Palazzo Bellocchi. Everything about the room and location was perfect. The breakfast that was included was hearty, as well. My one note is that I only realized that we needed to go to Hotel Orientale to pick up the keys because I read it in a review. "Overall the property is good and in nice location. If you just want to have a bed and shower, do your washing this will do nicely. It’s 10 min walk from train station and port. You have three supermarkets, bakery and farmers market within 5-10 min walk. Main Street with local restaurants is also 5 mins away. "We actually extended our stay as we loved this beautiful hotel. The village is small and a car is required but lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We loved the spa - incredibly relaxing and very cost effective. The hotel room is large with lots of storage and has fridge. Gorgeous bathroom. But the highlight was our breakfasts with Giovanni. Many quality choices and of course the cappuccino! Terrific service by all staff. Lovely stay!"

"We booked this hotel as we wanted a hotel that was central to the heel of the boot of Italy so we could travel to the various towns like Lecce, Otranto, Ostuni, Gallipoli etc which were all within about an hour of the hotel. "It started with a very pleasant check-in and car parking. The lady at reception was exceptionally helpful. The hotel is centrally located so access to the main attractions was close by. The breakfast was great. Hotel also provides coffee making facilities in the room. But do get buy milk."

"I love tobacco suites and will stay there every time I'm in southern Italy. The staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms a beautiful and the whole place is just very unique. They don't sell their story enough about it really being converted from an old tobacco factor so it's not just a theme but you have history there too. Highly recommended. My friend had to move to another local spot for few days because this was booked and she missed the fresh breakfast and warmth of the tobacco suites....
