"Everything was great with the hotel, except the bed. That is why it lost a star. The mattress was terrible and we could not sleep well. The staff is welcoming, happy and kind. Location was excellent for food and shopping and food was great too. The beach is ok. Ugly, actually. No trees and with an infinite line of umbrellas as far you can see. you pay ~€30 for the day. And it’s unbearably hot in August, day and night. If you are vacationing from abroad , like me, there are better prettier...

"We were able to find street parking within a block of the hotel. Close to the beach, but not on it so it's quiet and not crazy busy on the beach. The beach is just 2 blocks, it's really a wide boardwalk with lots of shops, cafes, fine dinning, etc. The beaches (Lidos) are private where you get a umbrella and beach chair (w/ sun shield for your head) for a fee. The showers, lockers for a fee, with a cafe/ restaurant and snack bar. This hotel has a deal with one of the Lidos but I don't know if...

"What a lovely family run hotel. Clean and comfortable. Good, quiet location. Breakfast offered a huge range of choice and also provided gluten free options. Good value. "

"Room was air-conditioned, spacious, clean and the bed was enormous and comfortable. Food was superb. Being in middle age, we could cope with the stairs. People with disabilities will need to book a ground floor room as there is no lift. We borrowed the (free) bicycles to get to the railway station. We locked them to a proper rack outside the station. 6 hours later, we returned to find one had no saddle and the other now consisted of a front wheel only. Embarrassed, we returned to explain. "The hotel was good and the location was excellent, a few minutes away from the tower. I arrived at 1plus pm, however it was closed and had to wait till 3pm to be checked in. The checked in was smooth and the staff was great. It would be great if the reception is open from 1pm to 3pm. The room was big and great, however O only have one complaint, the tv was ridiculously small to my liking. Overall my stay was excellent!"

"The process of booking was easy from start to finish and the hotel liaised with us prior to arrival to ensure our arrival was smooth. We were welcomed by a friendly, helpful and informative receptionist. Booking in was easy. We were provided with a leaflet with a local area map and restaurant recommendations. We visited the one, particularly recommended by the member of staff and had an excellent meal which was slso great value for money. We were shown to our room and shown how to activate the lights in the room. Our room was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. It had a private bathhroom, safe, coffee making facilities and a fridge. We could see the roof of the Baptistry from our window. There was no option for breakfast but there was a lovely cafe across the square where we bought breakfast. Luggage can be left at the hotel as well. Great location close to the Piazza Miracoli with excellent facilities and fantastic staff. I would definitely come back. Thank you. "
