"We had a wonderful 9-day summer stay in August, having come over from England (sorry this review is in English!). The house was fantastic and the area very beautiful. My eight-year-old twins loved climbing some of the local peaks, going to high-wire parks and local swimming pools. My elderly father was happy sitting on the great verandah, drinking a beer and watching the sun set over the mountains. We loved the little bread van that came each morning, and our kids had lots of fun playing with...

"The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding...

"The apartment am Grundlsee is a beautiful modern apartment with all the amenities. Everything we needed for our stay, for cooking and sleeping. Location is right in the middle of the tiny town, and the only drawback is that it sits right on the main road, so there is daytime traffic noise, but nights are fine. The lake is right across the street and the view is amazing. Grundlsee is a piece of heaven on earth!"

"Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen ! Es hat alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und man hat mit 10 Personen ausreichend Platz. Auch die Lage ist top. Von dort aus kann man sämtliche Ausflüge starten. Zu Fuß ist das Dorf in ca. 5 Minuten zu erreichen und man kann bei der sehr netten Vermieterin eine Kanne frische Milch Zapfen. Einziger minus Punkt ist die direkt angrenzende Straße."
