"Fabulous property, we were allowed early check in and late check out (probably because out of season) but that made all the difference for us. Great to have a good sized balcony. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. "Our stay at Pasquale’s apartment was wonderful, and relaxing. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, in Tropea. A highlight was meeting Pasquale and Vivian. They were warm and welcoming. Vivian shared some local recipes. We arrived during a rainstorm, and Pasquale met us at the train station and helped us with some grocery shopping to help get our week started. "

The driveway is to the left of the Topis Hotel driveway, so hidden and also allows free parking to leave your car while exploring the city centre. "The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...
