My stay at the Seahorse building Room 3
All in all it was good and pretty affordable. I was surprised that the additional fees were almost as much as the room for our stay. Vacasa gave me the wrong address for the hotel. Their directions led me to the Seahorse Hotel. We actually stayed at the Sandstone Inn, in the Seahorse building, a few miles up the road. It took us an additional half an hour to figure out where we were staying. Thank goodness for the other hotel being used to redirecting tourists to the right hotel. Our room was clean as was the hotel. It's was quiet and has a great shower. The bed is a back breaker. I'm still working out the kinks. I would not book this again strictly because of the mattress.

Mediocre at best
Property was clean enough, but needs a little maintenance. I’d call it mediocre at best. Furniture is not comfortable - bed and futon rock hard. Not a place you’d want to hang out and relax in. Temp was unbearably hot upon arrival, had to leave slider open all night to reach a comfortable temp. Loved the sound of the ocean waves while we tried to sleep, but the neighbor was smoking on their deck until very late and the smoke wafted right into our unit. I know there is no way to control the direction of the breeze, it was just unfortunate and added to the poor experience.

Linclon City studio
We enjoyed our stay! The studio is older, but very adequate for our needs. Everything worked. The view from our deck was outstanding. Every day we felt joy in watching and listening to the waves crash on the rocks. Very calming. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Awesome for the price
We booked a quick weekend family vacation at this condo (myself, husband, and two kids age 5 and 4) and chose it because it was dog friendly and had a great view, though we ended up leaving the dog at home because it was rainy. On the positive side, the room had a really great view for the price! I think better than the pictures. You could see it from inside the room and could still hear the ocean. There was very little noise from the neighbors except for an occasional barking dog. The bedding was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and provided soap bar, shampoo, and conditioner. There was a full size blowdryer in a drawer. The fridge and coffee maker were nice. The couch laid flat and made a perfect spot for our kids to sleep. We did bring extra bedding for them. The fireplace was easy to use and able to warm the room. There was also heating in the room so we were never cold. If we had brought the dog, there was space for him as well. Negatively, you could tell it was a dog friendly room. Smelled great when we got there but kinda had a dog smell after a day or so. Biggest complaint was that when we laid the couch flat there was lots of dog hair and food crumbs in the cracks. The fireplace is on a twist timer for 60 minutes so be aware there is a ticking noise like an old kitchen timer while it is on. There are no chairs as pictured, only stools under the table. There was a bar for hangers in the entry but only four hangers to use. So there was very little space to hang jackets or clothes/towels to dry. Overall, very awesome place for being pet friendly! Easy access to the beach (be prepared for lots of stairs, steep road, and some steep rocks to the beach access but my toddlers had no issue with the walk). We were able to walk all the way south to the bay at low tide for some beach combing. I would stay again!

Perfect View!
First off The view was amazing!! Everything in the photos is exactly how it looks. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Clean towels available. It’s the perfect room for if you’re not planning on staying inside much. The room had everything we needed and was close to stores and restaurants as well. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Great Basic Spot
This property has all the simple things needed for a vacation. While the interior may be a little dated and the wifi a bit spotty, it was clean and exactly what we needed. The bed was comfy too and such a great view! My only frustration was the abundance of dog excrement on the few grass patches. I wish owners were more responsible but until that happens, it was icky to take my dogs to.

Not as advertised
Property was poorly maintained. Electrical outlets broken and exposed in the wall. Sprinklers not mounted inside ceiling. Found other people’s hair in the tub and drawers. Coffee pot was disgusting. Floor was dirty. Benches for the table were so wobbly we couldn’t use them. While we did have a great view and the bed was very comfy, the room itself was awful. Needs a good scrubbing and the fire hazards fixed before we will ever stay there again. Also, don’t plan on taking a bath as there was no plug for the drain.

The views!
The view is ultimately the best part of the whole place. Bed was pretty comfy. The past reviews about the sliding glass door being hard to open is true. Definitely have to put your shoulder into it. The showers were always warm and lasted forever. The room does get toasty so we had to sleep with the door open. We would definitely stay again just because of the view and short walk to the beach!

While I truly appreciated the pet friendly room, I didn't find the room to be well-maintained.
The bed and the bathroom or clean. The floor was expected to be a little stained as it is a pet-friendly room. The fireplace did not work at all. The Lampshades look like they came from somebody's grandmother's attic and we're torn on the inside and looked ratty. The outside light to not have a cover and did not work on the deck. The fan and light in the bathroom needed repair also. The chairs to the table are very wobbly, be careful if you sit down.

Nasty room
The original room we booked was disgusting. We are dog owners and understand the mess that come along with them. This dog friendly room has stained and wretched smelling carpet- why would you have carpet at the beach!? The only redeeming quality is that upon having a discussion with the property management company, they let us change rooms. If we do stay here again, we will be very picky about the room we stay in.

Not a studio
Clean room- great location but describing the room as a “studio” is a stretch. The room is a converted hotel room. A studio has a small kitchen which this room does not.

Happy but would choose another room that was dog free
Their efforts were good. It was cleaned and stocked well, even had ice in the ice tray. I'd return to this place, but use a different room that wasn't dog friendly. I have no animals and can tell this room has had many.

The property is sufficient. But we had to come to terms with a lower quality of what was expected
Our room was clean, but had an off odor. The bed and futon were comfortable. The gas fireplace was lovely. Our view is amazing, however opening he sliding glass door was extremely difficult and It has become the joke of our weekend. There are amenities such as shampoo and conditioner, but there is only one small Bottle of each. The location is great. In room coffee was much appreciated. Overall we made the most of our stay, but I will definitely be doing more thorough research before booking this property again.

Great views and very quiet!
We just returned from a 2 night stay in this lovely condo. The views were absolutely outstanding and it was close enough to the ocean to crack the door and fall asleep to the waves crashing below! Everything was very clean and it was nice to have a "large" mini-fridge to store leftovers, snacks and DQ Blizzards! The beach is quiet and not busy--though a bit of a hike down stairs and hills to get there. Not a big deal for us, but some would want to drive to the public beach access a little bit north. About the only suggestion I would have would be to add a DVD player--or at least a cord to connect a laptop for some movie watching! :) Overall, would absolutely rent again--thank you!

Decent.
I wish that it would have been advertised that there was NO A/C since it was the hottest weekend at the beach in years. What rentals/hotel doesn't have a/c nowadays?? Pretty ridiculous. Also, each rental should have 1 assigned parking spot. Several other rentals had many cars (3 or more.) All of that being said, the room was nice and had a great view. The amenities just left more to be desired.
