Charlie's Place was completely renovated in 1999, restoring the original knotty pine paneling and wood floors. Walk from the living room to the spacious beach front deck with only a few steps to the sand. Let the kids play on the beach under your watchful eye while you enjoy your favorite book from the comfort of indoors. Witness the brilliant colors of a majestic sunset or the power of waves crashing during a winter storm...all available at Charlie's Place!

Great for a family
This was a great house for our family. It's not fancy, so less stress with the little ones around. Cleanliness was good, not great. The wi fi was out when we arrived and we needed to have the host call Spectrum to get it working. There were a couple of other little things, but overall the location and ocean views made up for them.

Great Place
Perfect for what we needed! Lots of bath towels and wash cloths which is often a problem 👏 We loved the big windows in the livingroom with the amazing view of the ocean and the direct beach access. The light was a bit dim in the livingroom and the bedroom on the main floor is tiny but other then that, amazing place! We loved it!

Wonderful location with great access to the beach
This house is everything we hoped for. Plenty of space for everyone to be able to get away when needed but great common space to all be together and enjoy family time. Walks down to the beach were a easy, daily occurrence with the direct access. Easy day trips to Newport and Tillamook for even more fun. Easy communication with owners and simple check in and out process. Would stay here again for sure.

Best Momcation Weekend!!
Our momcation group of 9 women goes to the beach every Mothers Day. This was the first time staying at Charlie's Place Great House!! The only thing we would recommend is more towels and more toilet paper. Thank you for sharing your beach house!

Great time at Charlie's place over Christmas
The house was a lot bigger than I expected. The beds were very comfy. Lots of privacy and an amazing view. I would recommend providing trash sacks for the garbage cans and more than one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, especially with a large party. Access to the beach and the view were the best! Thank you for letting us visit your home.

The layout of the house was perfect for our family, the location and views were wonderful! It was very disappointing that the BBQ was not usable, it is rusted out and very dirty. Also, some of the handheld/small appliances were very dirty and several dishes needed to be rewashed before use. Other than that the house was great and we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful Beach Front Home
This was my first time renting a house on VRBO. The house was just perfect for all of our family. My 3 adult children and 2 spouses. The bunk room had plenty of room for the 4 kids. The kitchen had lots of utensils, there was plenty of places to sit and the ocean was at the door! Loved it

Family vacation
Our trip to Lincoln City was fantastic, and our stay at Charlie's Place was wonderful! Lots of space for our family of 13. Kids loved having their own space downstairs and we all loved the private beach access. Such a wonderful space at this home! It was a little dusty inside and we had to clean a few things off but overall was clean. TP was short, but we read previous reviews and brought extra. Plenty of bath towels, but bring your own beach towels. Thanks for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

It was wonderful!
Our family consists of Grandpa and Grandma. Married kids with their kids. 12 altogether. We’ve stayed in other VRBO but this was by far the best! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Everyone from ages 9 - 65 were comfortable and had a super great time!! You definitely can not go wrong with staying at Charlie’s Place. Absolutely loved it!

Charlies place was sufficient for our group of 11. We spent Thanksgiving Holiday at the beachouse with our family from NY,NJ,AZ,OR. There were sufficient dishes, utensils, pots and pans to accomodate. Plenty of rooms and beds. Lots of puzzles, books, games and beach toys for the littles. Recommendation, rubber mats for showers and tubs. Our 80 yr old mother felt very insecure aboutshowering on the main floor and is not able to climb or decend stairs. Overall, was a lovely home would stay again

Charlie's Place was a cozy, wonderful family retreat. A fantastic way to spend Christmas.
The property is well maintained, enough beds for everyone, nice size kitchen, great living space. There was plenty for everyone of differing ages to do. Having the house so close to the water felt like we were on a boat during a high tide storm! My older grandchildren enjoyed dodging the waves as they came up to the breakwall! Then with the quieter weather, we all enjoyed the beach walking. We had just enough good and bad weather to enjoy it all! Would recommend it to anyone! Christmas there was wonderful can imagine it would be spectacular during the warmer months!

Views were amazing and property was adequately stocked with linens and kitchen ware….maybe would have liked more TP stocked but we had a large group. Garage code didn’t work and never heard from property manager regarding that after notifying and the windows were dirty so a squeegee would have come in handy to wipe the windows down. All in all a great place the stay and would definitely stay again

First the positives…Perfect location. Great view of the ocean. Spacious house. Great decks to sit outside. No closets and just a couple of chest of drawers. Mainly hooks to hang clothes. No bathroom in the master. It wasn’t stocked very well with paper items such as tp, paper towels and plates. A gas fire pit on the deck would have been nice since most evenings are cool. The dining table was small. All that being said, we all agreed that we’d book this place again in the future.

WONDERFUL LOCATION
We had a wonderful time with family at this beachfront home. I would recommend it for anyone with a larger group who wants to be close to the ocean. The home is older, so don't expect anything fancy. The cleanliness could be a tad better in the kitchen area, but the beds were all clean and comfortable. Another small issue was that the hot water never seemed to get hot enough. It was warm enough to shower, but definitely not hot. None of these things were bad enough for us to call maintenance. In my opinion, it would be nice to have more seating facing the ocean windows, but this may not be an issue for those who prefer watching TV over watching the ocean. Overall, it was a great weekend and a great place to stay.
