"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

Siegburg is a lovely little town, with nice shops and a good choice of restaurants. There is also woodland and off road paths for dog walking close by. "We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

Quality hotel and quality service

"A fantastic hotel with outstanding service. Rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable with a very modern feel. Right next to the train lines behind the hotel, but don’t let this put you off as it is extremely quiet, even in a room facing the tracks! Have stayed here in about 5 separate occasions now and would not return if we weren’t happy! A 5 minute walk away from the train station and the Cathedral. We were even found a room for check in when we arrived very early at about 9am! What great customer care. 100% recommended. "

"Fabulous hotel! We had a room with a great view, overlooking the Rhine river, Great St Martin Church and fischmarkt (a quaint little square). The room was really modern, lovely decor, comfy bed, very clean and with a small but great shower room with a really powerful shower. The free pastries and coffee machine in the morning were a nice bonus. This hotel is walking distance to all the major sites around cologne old town, there are tons of restaurants nearby and it is close to the tram lines that get you pretty much everywhere in the wider city that you might be interested in seeing! It is also a short 10/15 min walk to the main train station. The staff were all very friendly. If we return to Cologne we will definitely stay here again!"
