Lioppa Holidays

My family and I had a super stay at the Grand Hotel Olympic in April 2025. We were travelling with our 8 and 4 year olds and they both had an excellent stay. The hotel is in a great location, minutes from the Vatican, but feels much quieter compared to many other areas of the city. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to the heart of the city. Our room was very good, with a spacious bathroom and decent wifi signal to keep the little people busy when back from a busy day of sightseeing. The breakfast was a welcome perk, with it being a great way to start the day with plenty of options available. A great option for families wanting to experience Rome! Highly recommend.

There was what seemed a leak affecting thr flooring outside my bathroom in the room and no slippers. Everything else was fantastic and location was perfect

Great location, clean rooms!

Nice little old school hotel. Staff was great, very small lobby, but you only use that during check in and out. Rooms were very nice. I believe there was a recent reno, and it shows. Not a stroller friendly hotel. Old fashioned very small elevator, loved it, but can't fit a stroller. We were carrying it up and down flights of stairs. It was fine but just be aware. I would recommend this place. If you are a walker, which we are, you will be able to walk to all the important places to see.

As always the service was amazing. My biggest issue was the room was located extremely fare like it would take us about 10 min to get to it from the lobby and more of you around We have 2 young kids 2 and 5 and my wife is pregnant. Also there was construction going on on our floor and they where drilling from 9am to late at the evening. We asked to be moved but the hotel was full so they said they couldn't move us. We agreed to even downgrade our room. We really enjoyed the hotel beside that. Wishing they would have communicated all of this before so we could have made a decision if want to stay there or not.
