Only 35mins from Lisbon airport, this is the perfect place to rest & recharge for a few days and still be close to all that greater Lisbon has to offer.

A modern apartment, with a small fully equipped kitchen, it is located within the grounds of a 19th Century Quinta (farmhouse). We are in the centre of a typical quiet Portuguese village, Freiria, with lots of amenities such as a butchers, ATM machine, Cafés and convenience stores all within a minute walk. At the Quinta, there are lots of fruit trees and open space with playground and trampoline for children to play.

Freiria is surrounded by vineyards, there are plenty of beautiful scenic hiking, biking trails and wineries. After some exercise, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tart) or the region's famous Torres Vedras pastel de feijão (bean tart) at the Cantinho Amarelo cafe opposite the apartment.

We are 20 mins from the towns of Mafra and Torres Vedras.
In Mafra there is the beautiful Palácio Nacional de Mafra and the kings hunting grounds (Tapada da Mafra). In Torres Vedras, there is the castle and one of Portuguese's most famous carnival that happens in Febraury. There are many soft sandy beaches to choose from all within a 20-25min drive. (Ericeria, Foz do Lizandro, Foz do Sizandro and Santa Cruz to name a few). An hour away is Nazaré - famed for the big waves.
