This 400m2 five-bedroom house in Colares is the perfect retreat for families and friends looking for a spacious, comfortable vacation home. Please note that to access the house, you must climb stairs.

The property is set across three levels, offering ample space for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own privacy.

The house features a dining room and a living room with comfortable sofas and a wide-screen TV to watch all your favorite shows, perfect for gathering together for meals or relaxing after a day of exploring.

The kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware and cutleries that you'll need to cook delicious meals, such as a stove, an oven, and a microwave. 

For added convenience, the property is equipped with a dishwasher to make post-meal cleanup a breeze and a washer, a clothes dryer, and ironing equipment to meet your laundry needs.

One of the bedrooms features two cosy single beds, ideal for children, while two other bedrooms boast luxurious queen-sized beds for a good night's sleep. The remaining two bedrooms are adorned with lavish king-sized beds, providing a touch of extravagance to your stay. All beds come with complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort.

The 4.5 bathrooms contain all the necessary amenities, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries.

Step outside onto the terrace with a seating area, where you can enjoy the fresh air and the lovely garden, ideal for relaxing and unwinding in nature.

The house is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

Colares is nestled within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, an area celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes, world-class mountain bike trails and hiking paths, lush forests, rolling hills, and dramatic coastal cliffs.

Just a short drive away, you’ll find Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean await. Additionally, the stunning Praia do Guincho is a 15-minute drive, while the vibrant downtown Cascais is only 22 minutes away by car.

Colares is also renowned for its distinctive wines, particularly the Ramisco and Malvasia varieties. The region's unique sandy soils and close proximity to the ocean create a terroir that yields wines with exceptional character.

The property is conveniently located near Sintra’s beautiful palaces, including the Park and Palace of Monserrate, just a 17-minute drive away. This 19th-century gem, with its Moorish, Gothic, and Indian influences, once served as a hub for WWII spies.

Nearby, the UNESCO-listed Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra is a must-visit. This enchanting palace and its mystical gardens offer a captivating journey through the region’s rich history and architecture.

The area is a haven for lovers of traditional Portuguese cuisine, featuring fresh seafood, locally produced wines, and the famous pastries of nearby Sintra, such as queijadas and travesseiros.

For dining options closer to home, the popular restaurants of Azoia, including 3 Gomes, Refúgio da Roca, and the spectacular Moinho Dom Quixote, are just an 8-10 minute walk or a 5-minute drive away.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Humberto Delgado Airport is a 42-minute drive from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
