The staff were so welcoming and helpful and amazing and the owner and staff made the whole stay perfect, everyone should stay here instead of some silly commercial hotel!! Best place to stay in portugal!!! Also amazing dogs there aswell!

Super great option when visiting Sintra and Lisbon
Beautiful property and a great stay when visiting Sintra and or Lisbon, we had a car so the location was not an issue. 20 min drive to Sintra and about 35 minute drive into downtown Lisbon. They offer a great breakfast to start your day and the rooms are really nice with a home like feel to it. The staff is very friendly.

One of the best places to stay.
It was the best place we stayed in Portugal. Updated bathrooms and bedrooms. Lots of parking. It is about 20 minutes drive from Sintra. But it was worth a drive.

Wonderful stay. Terrific hosts 30 mins from Lisbon Airport similar drive time to Sintra. Wonderful Panoramic views from bedroom Faultless stay. Several staff on sick leave or holiday but Nini proved to be a great cook when we dined in Hope we get chance to return A Real Gem. Graham Smith

It’s quite a drive to get there from major roads, but totally worth it. The property is on a hill with gorgeous view. Hosts were excellent, they us feel staying at a friends house. We also met their grandson who came to visit over Christmas, he is a sweetheart. If you don’t mind the drive, I would totally recommend

Excelent stay! The owners welcome you with all their traditional hospitality. You will be amazed by the food and the way they will serve you. It is a new building and everything works fine. I took several pictures to prove it, but the reality is better than the picture. If you want to go, it is a good idea to call before and ask for GPS coordinates. Our rental's GPS did not find the Orbitz's address.

Beautiful, welcoming Rural home
John, Nini and their fabulous staff make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble. Tasty breakfasts and dinners (if requested) all homemade using local ingredients. An honesty bar offering soft and alcoholic drinks. There’s a swimming pool, pool table, tennis court, Basketball net & somewhere to practice golf! The house is tastefully decorated with some quirky touches. You just feel like you’re staying with friends. Yashi their dog is a delight and so well behaved and well trained, she’s a credit to them. You definitely need a car as the property is in a very rural area. Fabulous holiday had by us all. We will be returning. Thank you
