A lovely B&B in a great area and only a few minutes walk from the station (although you wouldn’t know it and you certainly wouldn’t be disturbed by it) - the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfasts were amazing!

This is an outstanding establishment - the room is quiet and modern with kitchenette, firm beds, very good internet, coffee machine, kettle and all cutlery. It is conveniently located and with a friendly host who makes you feel very welcome. The breakfast is A too. Will definitely visit again.

We made a last minute decision to visit Sintra rather than spend a second night in Lisbon. We booked Villa Estefânia due to its proximity to attractions and availability of parking. Parking is safe but it's street side on a fairly narrow one way street and availability can be limited. We needed a car to get from the villa to the town and attractions but it was well placed, clean and convenient. The owner made a lovely breakfast for us and was very personable. While it's a matter of preference, I found the mattress very hard and this was not comfortable even for one night hence the overall 4 star review.

The room was beautiful, the owner was terrific (responded to every request including providing a phone charger which we kept at no cost!), the breakfast was amazing. It was a 10 min walk to the bus/train station which connected to everything. The only negatives were there was no A/C (the room was a little warm) and there was outdoor music until midnight, which made sleeping difficult.

The bed and breakfast is beautifully decorated to the period of the house. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was extremely clean. Kitchenette was well stocked ( with wonderful restaurants in Sintra, we did not use). Room meticulously decorated, bed was good but too firm for our liking. We loved the cats, but might be a problem with allergies (6 when we visited). Wonderful host, we would definitely recommend. Bring good walking shoes... lots of hills and cobblestone streets in this beautiful town.

This is a proper bed and breakfast because they actually serve breakfast! The host, Francisco, is very kind and a great host. The room is very cozy with lots of furnishings and sufficient cookware etc. I had Wi-Fi and I was lucky that one of the guests left their Netflix on the TV. But I did have trouble connecting to certain websites so they might have some configuration on their router that prevents this. I didn't have time to debug it. My only concern was the lack of air ventilation in the room. You can open the windows but it is on to a main Street so you can't do it for long. I would recommend that they keep the windows open before the guests move in so the place can air out. Also, if you have quite a bit of luggage I would get a took took or a taxi because it's uphill and windy streets from the train station.
