"This was a great option for us because we were in Cork to drop my daughter off at UCC. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Having a full kitchen made eating so much easier and cheaper. Keep in mind that this is a dorm and is not a luxury accommodation. But, I would absolutely do it again."

"There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot."

"Staff was very friendly and accomodating, which is the most important point for me. Bonus points for the gym. There is a kitchen available to make meals and watch TV. I liked the location as well - calm, quiet and with public transport nearby. "

Since it is a student accommodation I was prepared to a less confort, but our family stay was great. The place super clean and the person working at the registration desk was wonderful. "This is a very old hotel and they do a fabulous job. My onlyissue is with the bar. They give table service to tables picked by the manager, but not to others. We waited 20 mins, and the server helpjng the table near us wouldn't so mu ch as look at us. I had to go to the bar to order, and they wouldn't substitute ingredients on any drinks. Very poor leadership and i would never return."

"Fantastic hotel in a great location outside of Cork. It’s a picturesque drive in and out of Cork to the hotel - about 20/25 mins in total depending on the junction you leave. This was our 2nd stay in 12 months as we travel to Cork regularly. The hotel never disappoints with friendly staff and the breakfast menu / quality of a luxury restaurant! The rooms are bright and clean with up to date colours. Our stays are always B&B as there is so many quality pubs / restaurants in nearby Bandon or Ballincollig to enjoy besides the excellent breakfast sets you up for the day. Will return again no doubt."
