"An unusual and historically interesting house. Our stay was fabulous. The buffet cooked breakfast was disappointing as the fried eggs and mushrooms were dry and the latter over salted. Had we been told at our arrival at the restaurant that there was an option of a bespoke cooked breakfast, we would have chosen that. Otherwise a lovely overnight stay and the staff were friendly. "

My only tiny issue is and it may be my fault just as much - but the signage to the property isn’t fantastic and even though I know the area very well with living there for 8 years and I missed the turn off in thick fog granted, but it can be misleading.
