"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. "Just a one night stay, sadly. Easy parking just over the road. Lovely room in top condition. Earplugs kindly supplied to help deal with the road noise from the bridge, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. Breakfast very good, but at 15 Euros the priciest of our trip round France. They also seemed understaffed at breakfast as the same staff were having to juggle reception duties as well."

"It was a lovely hotel and not too far to walk to main attractions and restaurants. Pool was very nice and lovely to get a short swim in and relax after long car journey . Bit of a walk up from restaurant in evening unfortunately lift stopped at 8pm. Only thing check in is from 4 and could have done with it being bit earlier even though could park there ."

Only a short stay

"We had to walk from train station to hotel with luggage in tow. Reception was closed but the were very accommodating. Rooms were equipped with everything we needed. Thank goodness the weather cooled down because there is no AC. Positives-Hotel arranged transportation back to train station, stored bags and lended us an umbrella. Also the dining room and courtyard looked quaint. Not so positive- the bedding was not comfortable."
